Complaint

After a cold start, slippage may occur in the 2-3 shift when the vehicle moves off for the first time.

Cause

A full basic charge for the K1 piston cannot be guaranteed with a cold start. This means that the plate contact pressure must still be built up, which can lead to a single brief slip of the gearshift.

Remedy

Topic is known. A software improvement is being produced. Replacing hardware does not remedy the problem.

Do not perform any repairs for vehicles with OM642 and M272 until further optimization software is available. Software is being produced for vehicles with electrohydraulic controller unit A220 270 23 06 and A220 270 24 06.
